Cynove

Cynove Home

Founded in 2000 and based in the heart of Paris, France, CYNOVE is a specialist in the implementation of video solutions, based around CMOS sensor technology which can be easily adapted to any USB 2.0 High Speed link or DSP specification.

The USB camera solution is similar to webcam but WITHOUT any compression and CYNOVE has developed the whole USB stack to enable easy image transfer to a PC.

Their products have been developed to run under WINDOWS 2000, WINDOWS XP, WINDOWS VISTA, Embedded XP and LINUX. Resolutions currently available range from standard VGA up to 5MPixels.

The DSP camera can be used in embedded applications with an MPEG4 or JPEG encoder, IP stream or with the customer's own algorithm. A user friendly API has been developed to help customers integrate their own custom software without the need for ongoing CYNOVE intervention : this API is very helpful for the management of company confidential data.

CYNOVE is also able to adapt the DSPCAMERA to comply with the customers need for low NRE costs and, after the customer confirms validation, is happy to work with the customer on final production and test.

CYNOVE also offers, through its various partnerships, a variety of lens options to help ensure every possible requirement is catered for.

Hi-Resolution USB Camera Modules for OEM Video and Still Applications

Cynove (www.cynove.com) introduce two USB 2.0 high-speed camera modules ideal for video monitoring, image processing and colour rendering in a wide range of industrial, medical and security applications.

Cynove USB Camera

Available with 2, 3, or 5 MPixels sensor (see table below),  these modules feature ultra-high quality Japanese lenses, low cost M12 lenses and are based around Cynove’s own high-speed USB technology. Embedded FPGA processing ensures convenience, reliability and low NRE and BOM costs, while compatibility with Windows and Linux operating systems ensures quick and easy set-up and output interrogation. Modules are delivered with the Direct Show driver and DLL or C/C++ software development kits.

Additional features include DSC emulation, preview mode and windowing.
